My husband had business in Nashville so I thought we'd get close to the science museum for the kids. The neighborhood is just not safe to walk with kids. Hotel is rundown and pretty shabby. Staff was nice. Complimentary breakfast was good. It is just an old hotel in an old part of town.

The hotel is modern, clean, has friendly front desk personnel and newly decorated rooms. Rooms are large and well appointed. Free continental breakfast is adequate and room prices appear to lower then comparable hotels. Only draw back may be distance from downtown (a $7 taxi ride). If this hotel had a shuttle service downtown, it would be perfect for travellers like us.
