I have been staying at this location for the last five years and this stay was the best so far. I was never greated at the door but this time i was. There was a gentleman that blew my mind from when we first arrived. At the begining i did think that he was the bell boy.Since it was a family vacation and i was traveling with my two daughters, you know when you have three females traveling with you it is never 1 suitcase. He did load our belongins on the cart while we were checking in and even rushed to call our elevator and directed us to our rooms. I told my wife that i have never seen a bellman at the red roof. The room was clean and the ac was already on. It realy made the diference when you are stuck in your car driving for 9 hours from El Paso. WhenI asked for an ice bucket it was delivered to us on the spot full of ice. I can say that i stayed at numerous hotels but I never received such a service. two days later while i was waiting on my wife to get ready I decided to sit at the lobby and play with my daughters. I was facinated by the staff enteraction with my youngest daughter who was having a bad day and was crying. They all seem like they cared someone did run to the back and came back with a stuffed shamu and gave it to my daughter. It made her day.My daughter has tons of stuffed animals and that one is her favorite. Sea World became my daughters favorite park thanks to hotel staff. We will always come back again and again

The room was just as expected - clean & quite ! The hotel lobby was recently renovated and is back up to par with other Red Roof Inns. They have complimentary coffee in the lobby 24 / 7 which is a plus whenever traveling, overall stay was a 4 out 5. Would have given them a five but need thicker curtains too not allow as much light into room, other than that the stay was great !

My major problem was with the staff at this hotel. The room was adequate and pet friendly which was very important on this trip. My biggest complaint came from ALL of the hotel employees taking turns parking in the handicap spots. I brought it to their attention on our week long stay but was told it was private property and their manager had given them permission to park in the handicap spots. There were a total of 6 cars in the lot. Apparently its a very dangerous neighborhood because the lady at the front desk said she needed to park in the handicap spots because it was unsafe for her at night. Armed with this new knowlege on corporate policy and hostile location, I'll try and avoid this hotel. My overall assesment will be fair and accurate based on our 7 day stay. Side not: no coffee makers in room and hotel lobby coffe machine down 50% of time; scratchy towels.
