Although the hotel is close to LP Field and less than a mile to 2nd Avenue and Broadway the location leads a lot to be desired. Wouldn't recommend walking back to the hotel after dark especically alone. The rooms are a bit antiquated and those that are non-smoking were at one time smoking rooms and still have the musky smell to them. Definitely worth spending the extra money to stay closer to downtown or Music Row. Especially since was charged more than the reserved rate.

We stayed here to attend a Titan's game. This hotel is dirty. Toilets had problem flushing - not only the one in our room but also the ones in lobby area. the bathtub was dirty and looked as if there had been a terrible leak that was never properly fixed. However, the staff were extremely nice... One of the lamps in the room was only for looks - there was not even an outlet near the area. Bottom Line -- I WOULD STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. When we go back to a titans game - we will stay at the Ramada . it's property is ajoining the stadium and you don't have to pay extra for parking there if you are a customer.

The hotel was located in an unsafe area of town. I do not recommend going off the hotel premise. The location was too far to walk to downtown or any restaurants. Taxi ride cost about $* to downtown bar area. Hotel staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast was good and the hotel has a bar in the lobby. I would stay closer to downtown next time. It really is worth the extra money to stay in a safer location where you can walk to the bars and restaurants.

Located in a remote area of downtown, and not a very high quality hotel. We checked in and got our room, only to discover that most of the light switches didn't work and eventually the safe and the phone, but not until we were ready to head out for the day the next morning. They came right away to help with the safe (which wasn't even bolted to the ground), but it was going to take sometime to fix it, plus the phone. They offered to switch rooms, since there was so many problems with this room. We did get a much nicer room, with a fridge and microwave, and was even a little bit bigger, with a better view. They were prompt in helping us in changing rooms and when ever we had a question. Due to the location of being a darker area and in a more remote area we wouldn't stay here again.
Also when we arrived there was a biker convention of some kind there, so we drove into a parking lot of about 100 motorcycles, and all kinds of people out in front of the hotel smoking and drinking, having a good time (but not be disorderly in anyway). That was bit unnerving to us, but they were all checked out by the next day around noon. Next time we will check with the hotel to see if there is any special event in town before booking.
