Room was very clean,staff was awesome,we checked in right away which was fantastic because we were going to Hershey Park!Also.Denny's was in walking distance for our meals.The kids used the indoor pool,very clean.

Myself and three other family members stayed a week in June 09 in one room with two double beds, and found the room to be clean, cozy, comfy, and quiet. Great free internet as long as the netbook was on the desk in front of the port connection. Four of us used a lot of towels and they promptly brought more when requested. The front desk printed directions to the local movie theatre when we inquired, and gave directions to the Walmart,which was down the street. I was impressed overall, and would use Holiday Inn again, wherever I and family may go.

Travelers (particularly those traveling alone) should note that almost all rooms are accessed from the outside. Aside from location, this property has no advantage over any other property. The room I stayed in was filthy, noisy and the mattress was clearly old. I never felt safe. This is a motel at its core (was probably originally a Red Roof or Howard Johnsons) posing as a hotel. Not worth the bother.

We had a great experience at Holiday Inn Harrisburg West. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They came up with some great excursions for us to take, and printed directions for us. We used the gym several times, the pool once, and played several rounds of miniature golfing. The room was very nice. We would stay again.
