Every other year, over 6,000 Christian Counselors from all 50 states and up to 40 other countries converge on Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee for the World Conference of the American Association of Christian Counselors. This is the largest event of its kind. All the guest rooms at Opryland Hotel are taken and several "overflow" motels are used by conference attendees. Comfort Hotel was an excellent alternative to staying at Opryland. It is a clean, comfortable facility with courteous staff. It was a five minute drive to the conference center. The Good Buy rate for Comfort Hotel was significantly lower than the rate at Opryland Hotel. The difference was enough to pay for dinner each evening.

My husband and I stayed at Comfort Inn for five days in July. The hotel room was kept nice and clean, and we felt safe and secure in this location. However, the one little thing that would have made our stay perfect was if we had had a microwave and a fridge in our room. It was inconvenient to have to haul ice from the gas station down the street for our cooler. This particular Comfort Inn is in a convenient location with regards to Opry Mills, the Opryland Hotel, the "General Jackson", and the Grand Ole Opry. We enjoyed guided tours on the Gray Line Tour buses who would pick you up and drop you off at the front door of the hotel. The Gray Line shuttle picks you up for the Grand Ole Opry and is waiting to take you back to the hotel when the show is over. This amenity was a saving grace because we didn't have to fool with the enormous amount of traffic or having to park and walk to the venue. Overall, we had a fantastic time as we celebrated our 33rd anniversary and would not hesitate to stay at this hotel in the future. THANKS, COMFORT INN!!

We had requested a non-smoking room for 3 nights (our family doesn't smoke). We had a room on the 3rd floor which was a smoking floor. The entrance area to the room smelled horrible, and the room reaked of smoke. We asked could we change rooms, told we could for one night, and other two back in the same smoking room. Asked for disinfect or spray, told we would have to get it from housekeeping the next day. The sheets were dirty, pubic hair was on them. Went down and got clean sheets and changed them ourselves. Floors didn't look like they were vacuumed or swept. This is acutally the worst room we have ever stayed in. As much complaining as we did, nothing was done to remedy the problems. Even the hotel staff (desk & housekeeping) kind of agreed with us. We were told the rooms weren't cleaned daily, had to be requested to be cleaned.
