We just returned from Phoenix and really enjoyed our choice of hotels. The hotel was beautiful and very clean and restful. It had many factilities that we did not use such as the water park and golf course. However we did enjoy the shopping and dining. It was easy to find and get to from the airport. The scenery was very nice just at the foot of the mountains. We will definitely return and encourage our friends to join us for an enjoyable weekend. We also discovered a wonderful Mexican restaurant just adjacent to the hotel.

This truly is a very nice resort, with many things to do. However, if you are there in the summer or on weekends it can become very noisy, with kids running throughout the grounds. We arrived on a Thursday in the off season. Thursday and Friday night were very quiet. Then early, Saturday, the minivans full of kids arrived and the place become a playground instead of a hotel. Saturday night was very noisy - in the room next to ours, there were a pack of teenage girls giggling and talking until 4am, which is when I pounded on the wall and yelled for them to shut up. I dont want to pursuade you from staying at, what is a beautiful setting and a nice resort. In addition, the employees are very friendly. Just prepared to share your quaint setting with a bunch of noisy kids on the weekends and in the summer.

We ended up in a Casita with no balcony, it was cramped, the air did not work right, the comforter on the bed was filthy, the pool had scum on the sides and bottom was dirty, and the TV was mounted on a side wall so you had no comfortable place to sit and view it.

This was a great resort! stuff to do and enjoy and the rooms were clean and nice sized. We had just come off of a horrible hotel experience, so it was nice to have chosen this hotel for our last nights stay in AZ. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pools and the waterslides. The food at The Hole in the Wall was really good too. Only wish we could have stayed longer!
