  We love staying at the SeaVenture. It was our honeymoon hotel back in 1998, and we've been back several times. Being close to the beach is great, except when there's an event happening in downtown Pismo (get's noisy). Rooms are great for couples. Get a little cramped with families. Recommend the Lighthouse in that case...although you lose some convenience walking to the beach. The hot tub balconies are great. Ocean view is spectacular. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast in a basket is quite good. Great place to get away.

  I've been coming to the Sea Venture Inn since 1992. It's long since been upgraded and the rooms completely remodeled. Most rooms have private hot tubs on the balcony's and fireplaces in the rooms. The feather bed was a slice of heaven. The only negative is the front desk person was less than helpful. If you book online they will not give you a room with an ocean view - call direct for those.

  Stayed for a few days in October 2008. Can't wait to come back. We liked that the resort was in walking distance to the pier, shops and restaurants. Staff was very pleasant and was able to answer questions about the local area.

  I just stayed for one night on a weekday during a trip up the coast, and the SeaVenture was by far the most relaxing experience. The feather bed was divine, the view unmatchable, and the hot tub made the gloomy weather enjoyable. I would reccommend calling in to book an oceanview room, and to stay on a weekday or off season to avoid the noise and crowds. Loved the soaps too!

  This is our favorite beach hotel so far!!! The hotel is small and cozy with the closest proximity to the ocean. Step out your door and your literally on the beach. Ocean view rooms are amazing, spent most of our time out on the balcony with the hot tub. Would recommend 100%!!!
