My most recent stay was a week ago. I took my mother for her birthday and had such a lovely time my husband, our 3 kids, and our dog joined me for the second night. As a stay at home Mom I go to the Renaissance when I want to be pampered, so a weekend every couple of months on average. The staff is always courteous, and I love having all of the shops within walking distance. They do an adorable set up for pets (a doggy bag of appropriately sized treats and a toy) and don't seem to mind larger dogs, so long as they are well behaved. My worst experience with room service was cold fries, I called down and they were replaced and my meal was comped. I highly recommenced the Renaissance for anyone wanting to get away for a bit.

Stayed for a weekend getaway. It was absolutely WONDERFUL! The service was out of this world. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is really close to the great shopping at the Domain and has tons of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Our 9 year old enjoyed the great back yard, the cow statues and the duck pond. We felt very safe and enjoyed our getaway in town. They had two pools and a great exercise room. I would defintely recommend this hotel for a family or a romantic night away.

This was our 4th stay (we like the area) and we will not be returning due to the rate price-gouging and the arrogant and rude manager who refused torefund a $19 rate overcharge for the 2nd night. I felt demeaned and devalued as frequent customer as a result of his actions, and will never stay there again.
