WE were surprised to learn that hotel parking was $* a day. It was valet parking only, service was prompt each tiem we asked for the car, so the covenience and service were excellent. It was the charge itself that surprised us. Peraps paying for parking at city hotels is common, but I'd suggest that travel online make that significant extra charge clear in your promotions. In fact, I think the hotel would be served well ot be forthcoming about the charge in their advertisements. We had a dreadfully loud party in the room next to ours. When we reproted it, a security guard came up right away. Without our calling, he returned in twenty minutes or so. After the second visit, the noise subsided a lot. So, I give the hotel staff an excellent score for their efforts. However, I believe part of the problem is simply very thin walls in this hotel.

The Brown Palace Hotel was beautiful but expensive, each room was unique. The Comfort Inn room was small. The elevator was noisy wherever you stayed on the floor. You could hear it running all night. The hotel had alot of parties all weekend and had trouble with young kids up too late in their rooms making entirely too much noise, to the point where we had to call down to the fromt desk every night at 1 am to shut the neighbors party down! Other than that, their food was great, my company was great and so was the wedding I was there to see! Overall we had a great time with not much sleep. The location is excellent to shop on 16th street outdoor mall, that was awesome and my kids loved it. I would definetely go back. The Brown Palace Hotel is decorated so nice and welcoming. My family really enjoyed being there. The wedding was in the Onyx room and could not have been nicer decorated and the food was exellent.

I had read the reviews about the elevator noise. They are correct. The elevator noise is very loud. The breakfast bar needs some improvement. Poor quality and selection compared to other hotels that I have stayed at. Rest of the hotel is good, clean, friendly, great location for the 16th Street Mall and shopping. When checking in, ask for a room away from the elevator.

Wow - great location! Right next to Lodo nightlife and dining. The night was great - the pedestrian friendly streets were full of fun. upon arriving, we realized part of the reason the room was so cheap - you are required to pay a $20 valet fee. We asked for a quiet room far from the elevators because we read that they were noisy. We were on the 18th floor. The room was nice and modern and very clean. When we went to sleep we were kept up throughout the night by slamming doors and loud drunk groups coming in. The walls seemed to be very thin. The next morning the 1940's elevators weren't working and we got to use the elevator the staff uses. If you are a real sound sleeper - go ahead and stay- if not book elsewhere. The location almost made it worth it -almost....

Nice location but a little hard to find as it's sign is overwhelmed by the sign of it's neighbor, a pub (I believe). I was only 3 blocks away from where I was working that week. The room was nice, clean and everything was in working order. Because I was on the 17th floor it was quiet. They charged $20 for parking when you first arrive, but once you were in you could come and go at will without paying more which means that you won't be paying $14/day for parking in the local structures. The staff were helpful and friendly. I don't really care much for Denver (it's like a Milwaukee with mountains) but if my employer makes me return to Denver I would stay at this hotel again.
