We booked a superior room with a mountain and stream view in July. The view was great and the room was decorated very nice. The hotel was located right along a nice jogging/walking trail that followed the stream. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. All staff was extremely helpful. The hotel is a little ways couple miles away from Vail Village but there is a free shuttle that will take you to Vail Village every 10 - 15 minutes. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and the prices were moderately expensive * ; but the portions were large and the food was very good.

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful views and very nice people throughout the hotel. The only thing I did not like was having to pay for parking that should be included. We also ate at Chap's-Very good food!

11/02/2008Best service i've had at a hotel. food was absolutely amazing.. skiing is the best especially because vail cascade has their own lift.

This is a top notch hotel worthy of it's 4 diamond AAA rating. we were there for 4 days in dec 2007 and had a great time. the rooms are very large and well equipped with a fridge and wet bar. This is the ONLY hotel in vail with a ski lift actually attached to it and that is a big plus. The only thing i would check on is if the lift is actually running as the season for the mountain opens earlier than the lift at this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Vail Cascade. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, even the maids were catering to our needs. They have live music in the bar during the early evening, which had really good musicians. THe resort is Ski in/ski out, but the only downside is that its all the way on the west side of vail, so its a long ride back, but easy to ski out of. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys comfort and a friendly helpful staff. Not to mention the hotel is beautiful.
