We recently returned from an anniversary trip, and loved everything about the place. The Tara suites were beautiful. Sitting at the beach and watching the sun go down was a dream. It was quiet and romantic. Its the perfect place if youre looking for a romantic getaway. If you're looking for tons of people and hustle and bustle with swim up bars, this wouldnt be for you. But if you want to relax during the day, and have a drink while watching the sun set, this is the place.. Nice restaurant on the premises, and a few you could walk to.. There's taxis right out front or rental cars to go to the high rise or downtown area. Really loved it

Definately the quietest beach and low key resort. we stayed 3 night in garden view, but switched to suite because of more room and the ocean view. 50 feet from ocean. pure white sand. Visited other resorts, they are nice, but way to be busy and looked like a rat race. this is the best resort for solitude and R&R. Bring cooler, beer is alot cheaper in grocery store.

We had stayed here previously, making a reservation through their website. This time we booked with travel website. We planned the trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The resort traditionally treats its guests to a Champagne reception, well not this time, we received a ""boot"" reception. We were booted out of the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel we were told they were OVERBOOKED and we could not stay at the hotel that night. Even though we had made the reservation over 7 weeks prior and paid in advance. My reservation through travel website was not honored. We both needed a vacation and this was a hassle. We were transported to the Radisson for the 1st night. The Radisson is a high rise with a small crowded beach. We did not sleep well due to the John Deer convention partying late into the night. The Radisson staff was very hospitable, but that is not where we wanted to be. The next day this resort allowed us to come back and we spent the rest of the week here as planned. My husband requested our first night be creditied or refunded to us since we paid to stay at this resort and wasn't able to. The resort considered it and later agreed to give a credit to our account of 1 nights charge, valid for dining, their spa or gift shop. We were also welcomed with an entire bootle of champagne in our room plus snacks. We did leave happy- the place is paradise! Lesson learned - book through resort directly for a guaranteed reservation. I don't know if travel website will print that but that was our experience in February 2009. I would pay the extra money, it was a hassle.

The Bucuti was a great place to stay, especially for couples of all ages. Younger couples, though, may want to stay in the high rise area at Palm Beach because Eagle Beach and the Bucuti were blessedly quiet and serene. The hotel was clean; the air conditioning and dehumidifiers worked well; the staff was always pleasant and helpful, the concierge desk especially so. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed every moment at the Bucati. If you are looking for a quiet serene vacation this is the place to stay. The people are incredible and go above and beyond for their customers. The beach is the absolute best on the island with lots of room and scenic view. We loved the food at the ""Pirates Nest Restaurant"" located on the property. We would recommed the all day jeep tour, the sunset sail and the submarine ride. We will gladly go back and stay again hopefully soon!
