The room, room service, and staff were excellent. The hotel breakfast was a little pricey but Starbucks is around the corner and so are other places to grab a bite to eat. It was difficult to get a cab in the rain, but that is just NYC in bad weather. In the evening, guests were checked for room keys as a safety measure and we appreciaed that. We were told that there may be noise because of the work at the "pit" at the World Trade Center but we heard nothing. The view over the pit was chilling but a reminder of what happened. We will stay there again when we go to visit family.

Very nice hotel in a great location in downtown Manhattan - a short walk to subways, tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. We heard no noise at night or during the day related to construction at ground zero. The rooms were nice with plasma tvs and great views of the city. Concierge was also consistently very helpful. My only complaint was the size of the beds we had. We had 2 double beds (3 travelers), but the beds were much smaller than a standard full size bed and did not comfortably accomodate 2 people. Make sure you request a larger bed if that is going to be an issue.

Our trip was kind of last minute, a few of us got some unexpected time off and decided to have a little fun so we decided to make a road trip to Manhattan, Our stay was wonderful, The Hotel was so much more then we had expected. There were 6 of us all together so we got two rooms, both had great views of the city. Both rooms had two double beds and a huge bathroom which was needed,( we had three girls in one room, curling Irons, Hair dryers, etc. plenty of primping room for all of us to get ready.) It was clean comfortable and very reasonably priced. We soooo would stay there again. The staff was so helpful. Thanks again Bobby!!!!! As a matter a fact we are working on a trip in May and are planing on staying here again. In a few words( Total satisfaction!!!!!)

Hotel was neat and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. I thought staying downtown would be nice but it is really out of the way from everything besides the statue of liberty. When i booked the room it was to my understanding you can see the statue from the room but we were not up high enough. The construction at ground zero was VERY loud even when you are 17 floors up! Our ice machine on the floor was broken so we had to go to another floor and use theirs. I thought the room was over priced. It wasn't what i was expecting for the price i paid. And i didn't like the no ""in-out"" privileges with our car. 55 dollars a day to park is just crazy! Other hotels are about 40 a day. And if you pick up anything from the mini bar-even if you don't use it you still get charged. That's ridiculous! I don't think i will be staying at any more Hiltons. No wifi in the rooms in a high class hotel is another downfall! And it was $15 dollars to use the internet for 24 hours in the room. The prices are crazy!
