hotel is in good locaion downtown. hotel lobby is clean, front desk staff very helpful, good size room and clean. one big minus is parking fee at hotel- ! i don't remember reading about parking fee to park at hotel... aside from parking fee, definitely a good hotel choice and will come back again.

One of the best city hotels I've experienced. This great location is in the middle of the vibrant, upscale shopping area with many quality restaurants within blocks. Very friendly & efficient front desk personnel. The concierge was helpful with directions & information on the many events & sights. The king bed was extremely confortable, the room had a great view and included many upscale amenities such as a flat screen hi-def tv. This hotel met & exceeded my standards and I will recommend it to my friends.

I stayed in the hotel for a week beginning July 18 prior to joining an Alaska cruise. The location near the Canada Place terminal is very convenient. The cost was very reasonable as a part of the travel agent's package. The desk staff is friendly and very helpful. The concierge services for booking tours of the city, Victoria, and Whistlers was efficient and much appreciated - as was their knowledge of neighborhood services from camera shops to laundromats. You are within an easy walk of the Robson Street shops and many downtown attractions and the Royal Centre shops are adjacent to the lobby. Rooms are spacious and newly re-decorated in contemporary style. Be forewarned that all room lighting in my room was florescent if you are sensitive to it. The view, of the city and the Coast Mountains, was very nice. On premises dining is good, if pricey, and there are more reasonable options within walking distance or a short cab ride. As much of my time was spent exploring the city, I didn't use the pool or fitness amenities.

The Hyatt on Burrard Street was wonderful!! It was beautiful and clean with an exercise room adjacent to the outdoor pool, so you can watch your kids. The hotel was right next door to a bus/sky train station which gave us easy and quick access to Granville Island, Stanley Park and Gastown. The hotel was only a couple of blocks from Robson Street which is a huge shopping district. There is also a McDonalds next door for the kids. The staff was very accomodating. They even let us leave our luggage there after check out so we could see more of the city prior to our Amtrak train departure, which by the way we got to by skytrain. The hotel restaurant was beautiful and the food was really good. It was a bit expensive however, but there were plenty of local restaurants within blocks. WE LOVED IT !!!!

Hyat vancouver is realy nice otel located in the heart of downtown. And speacialy for the person looking for some work outs its just stone through from see wall great place for jogging and cycling. Rooms are big enogh and well maintained
