went to see a concert at Arco Arena, and stayed here, instead of driving back and forth from SF. room has standard-but-excellent amenities, and several bars and restaurants are nearby. we had time to luxuriate at the pool before our return to foggy SF. i wish we could have stayed longer. Sacramento has just become my new favorite day-trip destination.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel to attend a concert at Raley Field. The hotel was absolutely beautiful. We had a great view of the Capitol and the surrounding area. Our room was outstanding. Our bed was very comfortable with down covers and pillows. We had a beautiful glass enclosed walk-in shower (big enough for 2). The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They always had a smile and a cheerful attitude. When I needed to reprint my concert tickets the staff directed me to the business center and explained the charges and how it worked. Since we only stayed 1 night we didn't get a chance to sample the food or any of the facilities. However, we did visit the bar area and had a wonderful time. Our waitress was friendly and prompt with our drinks. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to others.

I had the opportunity to spend two days at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento and it was, by far, the best hotel experience I have ever had. Though I had initially been booked for (1) night, I enjoyed it so much that I stayed an additional night. In addition to the hotel being extremely clean, the varied amenities that were provided made me feel as though I had never left home. And, the Hyatt staff was simply superb. I would strongly suggest, if you plan to spend any time in Sacramento, that you consider the Hyatt Regency. You get precisely what you pay for and then some. Joan S. (Los Angeles, CA)

Hotel is very close to capital and the cathedral - all in walking distance. Convenient for business purposes. Lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. Hotel staff was very friendly. Restaurant staff was terrific. Food was good. I had view of the capital which was nice. Concierge was available all day. There was even coffee and someone to get cabs at 4am. The meeting rooms were very comfortable. The meeting staff was attentive and the food presentation was really great. Worth the extra money if you are looking for a downtown location. Seems like a nice place to stay even if you're not on business.

Room was nice, not a luxury hotel , but roomy and clean. The dinner restaurant was wonderful, had dinner there both nights, our waiter Michel, was fantastic. Old world service, took time to answer questions, and remembered what wine we wanted and our cocktail order the next night. Very professional and the food was very good. Housekeeping staff very accomodating in bringing requested robes and extra towels right away and room service was prompt. Only downer was the breakfast buffet, the eggs were not good at all, but the service was very pleasant.
