  This was our third stay at the Intercontinental Hotel Singapore. The location is very convenient - within walking distance of Little India, Arab Street, Suntec City and Raffles. Bugis Station MRT is in the mall attached to the hotel making it a quick ride to City Hall, Raffles Station or Orchard Road for more shopping. The staff is friendly and courteous and the hotel is immaculate with one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! The breakfast buffet is very good with a variety of choices each day - omlet station, eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes, fruit, cereal, pastries, and numerous Asian soups, noodles and rice dishes. We would recommend paying the extra for breakfast when booking this hotel. One morning during our stay our server did not realize our breakfast was prepaid and gave us the bill. We told the server it was included with our room and it was no problem for her to fix it. Normally the hotel is reasonably priced. Our trip this time was during the first Singapore Grand Prix so all hotels in the area had bumped up their prices for the weekend including the Intercontinental.
