Whomever would give this hotel a bad rating would either be picky, choosy or not see a good hotel staring them right in the face. We always get the best service when we're here and the fact that it's at the end of the strip makes it even better. It gives you a chance to explore the rest of the strip without the busy, overcrowded streets of Las Vegas Blvd. near Bally's and the new Aria Hotel. We love the Stratosphere because it's quiet, relaxing and offers good food and shows just like any of the other hotel/casinos. The staff is always nice and willing to do whatever it takes to make our experience a pleasant one. We will always and continue to recommend this hotel for anyone that would like to be away from the crowd and enjoy a great hotel. Also, the rooms we have stayed in since we have been going to the Stratosphere have always been to our satisfaction. We usually get the High Floor Strip View, but this last time we opted for a view towards the freeway (I-15) on a high floor and still enjoyed the stay!

The rooms were fairly small, but clean and the beds were very comfortable. We didn't spend much time in the room and the sink was outside the bathroom so I could shave while my wife showered. I would go back to the hotel, except the location was on the far end of the strip mandating the use of the deuce, which was ok.

Out of our four night stay in Vegas, we stayed the last night at the Stratosphere. I booked the Romance Suite with the Hot Tub for one night. When we got there, our room was not ready. We were a little early. We waited two hours and our room was still not ready, so we took the same type of room on a lower floor (with a lovely view of the parking garage). No Big Deal... I was not worried about the view out the window. The room was AWESOME. Bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! Great hot tup with view of the TV. Really cool glass enclosed shower. Just an awesome room. The only complaints I have is that you can walk a LONG way from the front desk to the bank of elevators you need to get to your particular floor. Food and Drink are VERY EXPENSIVE at this place. Played the slots for about two hours and did not see ONE cocktail waitress come by. BEST BET: If you can get a good room rate, stay here and party on Fremont Street. Take the Deuce for travel up and down the strip and to Fremont Street. You can get a day pass on the Deuce for * bucks, and a three day pass for * bucks! The Stratosphere Tower is nice, but quite over-rated. If you stay at the Strat, your elevator ride to the top is *... otherwise it is * bucks. Also, you go through airport style security to go to the tower.

Everything was good. The Bathroom was like a tiny closet but other than it was all good. Waitstaff took forever to bring drinks while we were at the slots and the buffet could have been better for the price but it was still over all good.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff friendly, the room was comfortable and clean, and I slept like a baby in the bed. I had the buffet three times through my trip and the variety was fantastic. The food was so good I ate way too much and had to take a nap in the comfortable bed. The hotel casino was fun, and I won more than I lost, making my trip even cheaper. The price I paid for the hotel per night was less than I spend on a trip to Mcdonalds on any given day, and the value overall just couldnt be beat. If you join the rewards card thing they offer for free, you get 25% off the buffet price, which was cheap in the first place. I rode the rides at the top of the hotel, and I wont ever do it again!! Not due to any fault of the staff, but due to the fact I am a complete chicken, and being suspended a hundred and seven stories in the air and then spun around was too much for my nerves. But it was a complete blast nevertheless! The only thing I didnt like so much was the far north on the strip location, but it really was only mildly inconvienent. Due to the great value and comfortable accomodations of this hotel, I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to a friend. I had a great time.
