The deal we got on travelocity was AWESOME. With the location of the hotel being literally just around the corner from the Magnificent Mile, we got to experience downtown Chicago at a fraction of the price. Staff was friendly. I suppose the only bad thing I have to say is that their phones were kinda faulty. I requested a wake up call and the phone never rang on one of two days. Very bizarre. Overall a pleasant experience.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. When you first walk in, you’ll notice that the hotel looks very nice, and is very clean, but it hides a dirty little secret---most of the staff is extremely rude & incredibly incompetent.

We were in a standard king on 6/7/2009, about eight months after the hotel was renovated. The rooms, while small (""cozy"") have a very nice ambiance with modern amenities such as the generous flat screen tv, tiled bathroom, and marble sink. There were also a safe available to store our belongings and a fully stocked fridge. The icing on the cake were the bed linens - they are absolutely luxurious. The staff was also kind, and very helpful. The restaurant serves a nice breakfast and is suggested for anyone looking for a good start to their day. The location of the hotel is also within easy walking distance of the mag mile for those who want to shop and a short cab ride to many of Chicago's premier destinations (Navy Pier, Sears Tower, Millennium Park, etc.). Overall the Millennium Knickerbocker is a steal for anyone looking for either the perfect weekend getaway, or an extended stay.

I stayed here over a long weekend. Great location, about one block from Michigan Avenue with a Vuitton store right on the corner! Check in was quick and easy. I stayed in a room with a single king sized bed. Room was pretty small; fine for me solo, but may be a little cramped with 2 people and their stuff. Bed was really comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! Staff was great; helpful and courteous.

Excellent service. We were invitied to check in early when we arrived at 10:30am, then were pleasantly surprised that the room, with two doulbles, was not at all small as reviews we had read led us to expect. It was nicely furnished and exceptionally clean. Concierge service was very gracious and helpful. Super location for tourists on a girls getaway like ourselves. Would recommend it to a friend.
