Important Hotel Information
- With a commitment to provide quality standards, the Hotel is refurbishing the lower guest room floors of the Shangri-La Wing. The lobby and lounge of the Shangri-La Wing will follow from 01 August. These areas will be concealed from view until completion by end October. While intermittent noise may be experienced by guests, these are confined within normal business hours only.
The hotel continues to operate normally with uninterrupted service. The deluxe Krungthep Wing, and newly renovated swimming pool, Salathip and NEXT 2 restaurants by the river, are not affected

A truly superior hotel located alongside the Chao Prayha river. Our room was luxuriously furnished, very clean and had a spectacular view of the river. Very relaxing outdoor pool with garden surroundings. Clean and well-equipped health club. Excellent location less than 5 minutes from sky train station and water taxi station. Many high quality Asian antiques shops in surrounding area. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

I stayed here in April. The service was excellent. One reason we stayed here was for the skytrain location, however we only used it once -the taxi's are so cheap - u can get anywhere in the city for 1 - 2 dollars. Also, the hotel has a ""limo"" service (just a mercedes) for 20 dollars an hour. The pool area is very relaxing The Jets plays there 5 nights a week - they busted out with Jack Johnson one night! Two of my friends stayed in the Horizon Club - their room included a small living room, and a free breakfast buffet.
