Upon arriving at the PV airport, just go straight outside the airport. Don't bother with anyone else whom stops to talk to you. The hotel rooms were nice. We stayed in an ocean view room on the 1900's floor, ice was only available closest to us were on the 1800's and 2000's floor. A/C runs on water so your everything will feel a little damp. To operate the a/c the window must be shut completely to turn it on. You can exchange currency at the front desk. We tried at the bank and they denied exchanging, go figure. The beach was rocky, so wear whatever to protect your feet. The pool and the ocean water was warm. Food at the hotel was kind of pricey, so venture out into the town. Try El Adriego, it was good only a few blocks to the right of the hotel across the street by the Senior frog gift shop. Taxi fares are set depending upon where you go into town. i wouldn't recomend taking the bus. common sense, please don't carry everything with you when your out in town. don't want to scare anyone, but you can get robbed. Do try the zip lining on the Puerto Vallarta Adventures Canopy Outdoor tour. It's awesome! The front desk were helpful. Don't bother with the people at the desk over by the elavators, think their time share people. If your asked for your room # just give them a random room #. No one needs to know what room your in! When we were checking out, we found out that the bell boy service and the daily room cleanings were added in. This isn't our home, so just be safe and think safe. Enjoy your stay! 2 many things to say not enough space!

I have stayed here almost 20 times over the past 4 years, and I will continue to come back. I will say that it is not the nicest property in Puerto Vallarta, but it still is very nice. The staff there are all amazing, and they make us feel like family. Everytime we return we hear from many employees ""welcome to your second home."" The rooms get cleaned everyday, and are comfortable. I personally prefer the garden palapa rooms, they are the cheapest, and I think are the best quality. The food is really good, I only ever eat the lunch, but we go there everyday for lunch and find it good. They have activities by the pool everyday, which are always the same, and have been the same for 4 years but they're still fun. Overall, the best part of this hotel is the staff, they're so great and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to others, it is a great value for the price. Also, it is very close to downtown which is so nice!

The overall hotel experience far exceeded our expectations. The tile floor was a little dirty, but other than that the room was great. A nice oceanview studio with everything we needed in the kitchenette. The view was spectacular, whales surfacing and spouting. The grounds are well kept with beautiful flowers and lush foliage everywhere. The pools are great. The beach is a bit rocky, not as good as some in the area, but better than many. The staff is great. We thought the location was convenient, close to El Centro with lots of restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment. Busses coming by every few minutes make travel convenient if not comfortable. The staff was wonderful. I recommend the relaxing massage out on the jetty. We think Sheraton Buganvilia was a great place to stay for the money we spent. We don't travel often but will be going back.

The hotel was very nice--clean, good service, friendly staff, and comfortable. Upon checkout, we noticed and item ""Donpal"" on the bill, for 12.70 pesos (about 90 cents US) and asked about it. The clerk said it was for a children's charity and they add it to everyone's bill. If we didn't want to contribute, they would take it off the bill. We heard other customers asking about the same item. We don't mind contributing to a charity, but it would be nice if they asked if we'd like to do so, instead of just adding it to the bill and not saying anything until asked about it. We'd stay at the Sheraton again and would recommend it to anyone.
