We had a good stay. the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only down side was the hotel dining. The food was bad. We tried a late dinner we had to send the food back.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza 20-26 July 2009 with my family while on vacation. The room smelled horrible; as if wild dogs had been residing there prior to us. No refrigerator in the room, forcing us to use the ice and soda machines...only they didn't work. After finally locating an ice machine that worked, the room did not have a liner for the ice bucket. Multiple calls to the front desk resulted in one being delivered to the room over an hour later. While seemingly not very important in the overall scheme, it demonstrates the lack of attention to detail that seemed to prevail. On the positive side, the room was very attractive and comfortable; just couldn't get over the kennel scent. The personnel manning the front desk were polite.

Very satisfied with hotel. Hotel was clean and offered lots of amenities. Staff very helpful gave us wake-up calls everyday. The pool and premises are kept up very well and were always clean. Central location to most activities in colorado springs, hotel easily accessible to hwy 25, and there are lots of restaurants in area to choose from if you don't want to eat in hotel. Only negative did not like the pillows on the beds, just couldn't get comfortable on them, but the queen beds were very comfortable.

My family and I were there for a convention. We had 3 rooms and all had water damage and mold. I asked to move and the next room was better, but the hotel is in poor repair. Ther fire alarm went off and we could not hear it or the announcement to evacuate the hotel. I would not stay here again.
