We had a convention at the Sheraton. Although I was apprehensive given it's remoteness and proximity to the airport, we found that it was easy to get into town and close to most everything and quiet, despite being so close to the airport. We had a deluxe room with a view of the bay. The room was very spacious and well appointed. The bar and refrigerator was a nice amenitie. We had to order room service due ot a late arrival and it was terriffic. The hotel was clean and worthy of it's stars. The staff was great and helpful. The pool and fitness center were quite nice as well and a great place for families with the game/arcade room. This is a perfect property to take the family to for a convention/vacation.

Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Also employees in the Spa were pleasant and very friendly. Room was nicely decorated. Room with a view was of the parking lot with the taxi stand. Found stains on the white duvet cover, and found food wrappers and bottle of pills under bed and nightstand left behind by previous guests.

We booked a four night stay for a waterfront room, we did not get that and the lady at the front desk had the nerve to say they considered all of their rooms to be waterfront, funny, ours overlooked the tennis courts and parking lot. This is an average hotel clean, but nothing special we stayed at another hotel the next four nights, liked that one much better should not have booked this Sheraton. We expected better service from the front desk but , on a positive note the AC was not working in our room and they sent someone within 5 minutes to fix it. The other thing that bugged us was that one morning we requested a wakeup call, but that never happened good thing we weren't going to the airport that day. Also they were doing "upgrades" on the elevators most days they took forever so we mostly had to take the stairs not fun carrying bags. Overall not much better than a Holiday Inn should be priced much less.

We booked our room at what we thought was a good rate o per night. To get this rate, we had to book it as a non refundable reservation. Our first surprise was the $ per night parking fee. The second surprise was the $ per day internet access fee. The elevators were noisy and showed a lot of wear and tear. The elevator inspection certificates expired while we were there on 3 of the elevators and almost a year ago on the 4th. The common hallways were dirty, they looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. The tile grout in the bathroom had dark mildew spots and the air intake for the AC was very dusty. A hot water pipe broke while we were there and took the better part of a day to fix, so no showers until almost bedtime. The restaraunt was a joke! We were handed room service cards to fill out before they would seat us! (The menu was exactly the same as room service). On a plus note, the bay view from our balcony was very nice. It was fun to watch the sailboats and Navy ships.
