I recently stayed at The Beacon with my 1 year old daughter. I was expecting nothing more than a clean place to stay with close proximity to the ocean. Staying at the Beacon was amazing. Not only was there a crib for my daughter already assembled in our room, but the entire stay was overtly friendly (in a pleasant, genuine way) and staff was willing to help us without a second thought. My only qualms were that cocktails though large in size lacked any kind of kick and the elevator is a coin toss.

I once again enjoyed my stay at the Beacon Hotel. It is in a perfect position on South Beach. Walk out front, beach volleyball, a running/walking path of either concrete or sand, and of course the beach await. Positioned above equidistance from either end of South Beach allows for easy walking to the clubs at night, or the shops during the day. The rooms are clean, the staff is helpful, and the best of all, the staff is very friendly. All-in-all a great experience.

GREAT LOCATION, SMALL ROOM.

LOCATION ,ACROSS FROM BEACH AND IN THE CENTER OF EVERYTHING, EATING , DRINKING ,PARTYING,AND SHOPPING. ROOM WAS VERY SMALL.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Beacon on South Beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered every question and even printed out directions to our places of interest. Although the bathroom was a little small, the room was nice and comfortable. The Aveda bath products were delightful. We appreciated the nice beach towels in the room. We would definitely stay here again.

I had taken a vacation to South Beach with 6 of my friends. We chose to stay at The Beacon cause it was in the middle of everything. When we arrived, we did not get what we had paid for...adjoining rooms, ocean view, microwave in room, cleanliness. The room service was horrific! We had to ask them to clean our rooms in which they did a terrible job...they did not change the bedding, just made the beds (which had bedbugs...woke up every morning with bites) they did not sweep the floors or replenish our towels when needed. Cockroaches...GROSS! There was a very bad storm one day we were there that lasted 9 hours! I'm not saying it was their fault for the weather but the hotel (the only hotel on the strip) was out of power for 6 hours! They did not offer any flashlights or candles and had no information as to when the power would be back on. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything going on around you. The very small window in the bathrooms had plexiglass over them so you could not open them, the showers leaked....must I go on?! The entire experience in South Beach was AMAZING! I just do not suggest anyone stay at this hotel. You will be extremely disappointed!
