  We booked this hotel after reading reviews on another travel site and were not disappointed! This is exactly the type of hotel experience most travelers would want for the money paid. Yes, it costs a little more than many others, but the charm of the place more than makes up for it. You will not find any faults here. The staff was gracious and helpful, the full breakfasts were excellent, the room was a Francophile's dream with tasteful furnishings and quality linens; the bed slept great. The hotel was quiet and relaxing and the walk was not too far to the Seine. The surrounding area was very nice and Luxembourg Gardens was just a few blocks away.This hotel experience was on par with the St. Francis in San Francisco and the Sofitel in Beverly HIlls - just on a slightly smaller scale in terms of size of the property. Great memories are to be made here! :-)

• Superb service

  This hotels service was superb and they cannot do enough for you. the only downside was there was no restaurant and the prces in the bar will truly scare you.
