Great place to stay in Venice with an accomadating staff, excellent resturant central location to all there is to see and do in the city. The room that we had was rather small and we did not seek to upgrade or to change the room once we arrived. The staff did manage to address the seperate singe / twin beds and arranged them together which did help in the cramped space. The room was equiped with both a shower and a bath and had a limited view of St. Mark's Square. The internet was free but what was annoying was that you had to get ticket every time you wanted time on the internet. Tickets available from the front desk free for durations from 60 to 180 minutes. The hotel if located in the center of its district and adjacent to St. Marks Sqaure though the entrance at night is difficult to find if you do not know where to look. Ask. The hotel opens on the back street away from the where the photgraphs would indicate. For Americans McDonalds is located right next door. Great if you dont want to pay an arm and a leg for a coffee in the monring. The Bells were wonderful. The hotel will seek to arrange things for you to include a Glass Factory Tour on the adjacent island which includes a private water taxi for free. Take advantage of it but do not feel pressured to buy the art work. Shop until you drop. If you like to walk Venice is the place to be, but the amount of Graffitee on the walls was disappointing. Do the canal at night. Food Was to die for. No more than 4 Days. 7 was too long. Day trip by train to Florence a must.

Very accomadating and personable staff. Right in the center of everything you would want to see in Venice. Nothing like opening the shutters of your windows that overlooks St Mark's and the Plazza! Highly Recomended!Looking forward to our stay again!!!

Great location and excellent service by English-speaking and friendly staff make this a good choice. We were lucky enough to have a room with two windows overlooking the side of St. Mark's! Comfortable and nicely decorated.
