  This luxury hotel is within walking distance to great restaurants, shopping area, and Retiro Park. Within a block or two from Retiro Metro stop and within 10 minute ride to Plaza Mayor, one of Madrid's main shopping and restaurant areas. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very big (even for US standards) and had a lot of amenities in the bathrooms. The only complaints I have is that the beds are rock hard and that the elevators are very small. Overall, the hotel is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Madrid.

  I was a little dissapointed because i had booked a double bed and they tried to put me into two single beds. i had read previously that this had happened ...

  I was a little dissapointed because I had booked a double bed and they tried to put me into two single beds. I had read previously that this had happened to someone else as well. After complaining and being suffled around we finally got our room. For the amount of money you pay that kind of hassle was not neccessary.
