  We enjoyed our stay at the hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food at the breakfast bar was excellent and they had a 98 Health Department Rating. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient - - about 10-15 minutes to I-40, Nashville Airport, Opra Mills Shopping Mall, and the Hermitage.

  The hotel overall was good. I do think that for the money the rooms could have been a little cleaner. I originally requested a King and got a handicap double. I didn't mind but the tub and bathroom floor could have been a little cleaner. I'm not sure how often they vacuum and dust but it could be done a little more often. Otherwise it was a nice stay and I would stay there again but next time I will call ahead to ensure I get a King or a balcony.

  When you walk in the lobby, you're taken in by the beautiful, huge meeting area with a 30-foot ceiling, fireplace, several TVs, etc. Sadly the actual rooms are not quite as impressive. The rooms are average size, but looked "tired." Little things like no stopper in the sink, bathroom door that doesn't close completely, etc. lead you to believe they're just waiting for the next renovation project someday. Breakfast was okay--the usual muffins, cereal, and fruit--but nothing warm, unless you microwaved a pastry or toasted your bread. Location is great; it's convenient to the interstate and the airport. I try to stay near there whenever I visit Nashville.

• New Carpet and New Bedding

  The hotel has just had a upgrade with new carpets and bedspreads, the tub was worn but could be next on the list for replacement.

  The room was nice but there was mold around the bath tub. This could have been cleaned if the right cleaning product is used. It really makes you wonder just how dirty the rest of the room might be.
