Quick and easy to get to, I did confuse it for the other Holiday Inn a few buildings down. The room was nice. Felt safe and secure. I checked in late, so was unable to use the pool. I don't know why they don't keep it open at least till 11:00pm. I promise I'll keep quiet. The pool looked nice and clean. The lady at the front desk was very friendly.

When we got there, we found dried blood on the bedsheets and pubic hair in the bathroom tub. We reported this immediately to the front desk & we got an "attitude" from the girl working the front desk. She said "sorry" & proceeded to move us to another room. When we asked if the manager would be notified of this, she said "I'm moving you to another room. What else do you want?" My husband spoke to another person working the front desk (the next day) and got the same type of reply. Would never stay here again, because they acted like it was "no big deal" to have blood on your sheets & pubic hair all over the bathroom. TERRIBLE customer service & ZERO hospitality. The free continental breakfast was great - it was the ONLY good thing about this hotel.

This was a weekend trip to Sea World and staying here at the Holiday Inn was great. Its only 10 minutes away from Sea World and isnt far from the River Walk either. The service here is great and the price really impressed us. This hotel is a great stay for a few days. The breakfast is delicious and is always ready to serve. But one thing that I must add is for you to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and soap. They only provide one small bottle of each per day and is not very good for your hair. Overall I approve this hotel for a great comfortable stay.

My stay at this hotel was a pleasant experience, and I would go back. The front desk staff were helpful; one of them ordered a taxi for me when the hotel shuttle couldn't take me to my destination. As for the room in which I stayed, on the plus side it was spacious and clean; negatively, the room and bed linens had a musty odor that could use some freshening, there was also some plastering on the bathroom ceiling that needed to be covered up, and the furniture needed some updating. Finally, to end on a positive note, the free breakfast was great! There was much to choose from (and this is not a complete list): toast, cereal (4 kinds), english muffins, bacon, yogurt, various kinds of juices and coffee flavors. Even though the hotel is about a 5 minute drive from the airport, I wasn't jolted by the rumbling noises of planes nearby; my suite was quiet and peaceful.
