Great location across from tube station and small mall that has a grocery store and a Boots drug store. Rooms were clean, baths were newly updated. Conceirge services were especially helpful and pleasant. From here you can go anywhere by tube in London, go to Paddington for National Rail and even walk to Hyde and Kensington Parks for beautiful park experience, Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed three nights, lovely newly-done room. Location is terrific, across the street from the Tube, a Waitrose and a Boots (with Starbucks around the corner) -- a great hotel in the heart of a real neighborhood and still close to everything. When they finish updating the elevators and have them both in service, that will be good (one afternoon the sole lift got itself stuck on the 3rd floor for no reason...). And staff could be a little less condescending about providing change for GBP 10! But those are quibbles and overall we were delighted to stay here. Also, it was a great deal relative to other hotels in London!

We took a family vacation over the Christmas break. We have 2 teenagers that were disappointed that even though we had 2 double beds the room was still small. It didn't matter as we weren't really there that much. There are 2 internet cafe's within a block, several convenience stores, and at least 3 fast food places. My kids had a great time. The staff was quick with our extra towel request. The concierage was very helpful with explaining the tube and bus routes, getting us a cab when needed, and booking tours. This hotel was clean and comfortable and we always felt safe going out at night. The only downside was the hotel restaurant was very expensive with many more options within walking distance. Also a very small lobby. Overall a great value.

Great location, 100 metres to tube station, coffee shops and supermarkets. Easy walk to South Ken, High St Ken, Kings Road and Hyde Park. The front of the hotel is on the Cromwell Rd, but we had a renovated executive room for 4 nights at the back of the hotel facing the courtyard and church, and it was very quiet, even with the window open at night. Room cost us under $* and was great value. Huge room, definitely the largest we've stayed in in London, with a massive king size bed, and an excellent bathroom (though there was no extractor fan). Wasn't keen on the choice of carpet color, though I expect it's practical, and it may start to feel dated after a few years. Lobby in process of being renovated so the check-in and sitting areas felt a little cramped, but the plans for the renovation look impressive. Staff helpful. One of the elevators wasn't working the whole time we were there (and both weren't working when we arrived) and it would have helped to have had some signage as to how to get to the stairs (and where to come out on the way down). Room cleaning wasn't done one day, although we were out from 10.30 to 6.00, but they came very quickly when we called down. On my last night I was reading in the lobby and I was impressed with the offer of a drink on the house by the duty manager - a thoughtful gesture and one you rarely get these days. Overall a great stay and I'd definitely stay again. My guess is that rates will go up once the renovation is completed. Enjoy while you can!

This hotel is across the street from the Glouster Road Tube stop, across the street from a grocery store, and a block away from a laundry mat. It was clean, and the rooms were reasonably sized. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The only downside: the bathrooms are a little dated, and the rooms were a little too warm -- so ask for extra fans and you'll be fine. Would definitely stay again.
