I guess since the 1st reviewer, the lobby was re-done. Multiple towers for rooms. Breakfast was Killer great, better than the others in Berlin (which have been great). Breakfast is included in the package. The Tram is right outside, and if you go the oppisite way, More Tram choices! The room was clean, comfortable, and LARGE. A grocery store is meters away by the car dealership. Small deli does a great Berlin CurryWurst. 1 TV channel in English (CNN International). I had a beautiful view. The staff spoke Engish and was most kind. They we're horrified to hear Holiday Inn in the USA was not to their standards. I felt very safe coming back very late (actually Sunday AM) coming back from a huge fireworks show @ Tempel Airport (now closed). Certainly, I am making this property a top consideration for my next stay.

The lobby doesn't look exactly like the picture online. It is a little worn. However this hotel is very, very clean. The room was very nice. The tram is across the street and a train station is down the street. The tram ride to Museum Island area is relavitely short. Even taking a train to Pottsdam was not difficult at all. Each day I wanted to go somewhere I would get very good directions from the front desk. They were always very helpful and friendly. While this isn't a very fancy hotel. I would strongly recommend this hotel.
