Was here in August 2008 for three nights with family of four - had to take two rooms for about ***a night each (2 to a room). This is an off-season price I believe. King bed we slept in was SUPER comfortable with LOADS of pillows - one of the best beds I've ever slept in. And the room was supremely quiet. Hotel very close to a good grocery store and patisserie, so we ate cheese and baguettes, pains chocolats, fresh fruit, juice, milk, etc. right in the hotel room for breakfasts, thereby saving a considerable amount of money each day as restaurant eating in Europe is about double what you would pay in Canada. Great location. Steps from the European Union Parliament buildings and parts of upper town walkable. Metro a bit of a hike, but not too bad. Luxembourg Square right around the corner seems to have an endless supply of buses, though. Pool and workout facilities good, although when we were there it was crawling with screaming unsupervised kids, and the steam room was out. Pleasant lobby (this is a business hotel) with free coffee in the morning (but get it early, because it disappears fast). Don't waste 5E on the 15 minutes of internet time you get - just up the street in a slightly poorer part of town you get internet for 1E an hour. Staff speak English no problem and are helpful. In room safe was locked and they couldn't figure out how to open it, so we used the kids'. But still, they should have fixed it. The dining room on site is expensive, but nice looking. Overall, a very pleasant business class hotel which is great to come back to after an exhausting, full day of sight-seeing, walking around, etc.

Outstanding facilities with great lounge. We arrived at the hotel at 9AM after travelling for 24 hours, stopped to drop off our luggage and ask about a possible early check in that afternoon. They had our room ready (at 9AM!) and waiting and allowed us to check in on the spot. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the concierge booked us on several enjoyable trips. There is a local neighborhood nearby, as well as a business atmosphere, so we saw the best of both worlds.
