We spent two nights at The Inn At East Beach and enjoyed a large, clean room with continental breakfast for an economical room rate. A block from the beach and short drive to downtown shopping and restaurants. It was our second stay here and we have come to rely on F (hotel manager) for his advice regarding food, shopping, site seeing and directions to and about the area. Recommend The Inn At East Beach for a good place in Sanat Barbara with an excellent guide in the person of F.

Arrived with big Ford F350 & found a huge parking lot in the back. Very comfortable, updated clean rooms. Plush bath towels. Renovated pool area and furniture. WiFi & new flat screen TV. Quiet & steps away from beach. Great value. Manager, Frank very personable and helpful. A diamond in the rough! Can't wait to go back. Actual date of visit was 8/14/09.

X, the manager, was very friendly and helpful in making sure your stay in SB was memorable one. He actually takes the time to greet you by your first name basis whenever I saw him. The continental breakfast was really good compared to other places I stayed at. The heated pool was nice on days when you wanted to get a quick swim in, else, your actually within walking distance to the beach. The room I stayed in was recently remodeled, a contemporary style that I liked. The rooms were very clean and the beds very confortable after a night on State St. I'd actually stay there again on off season.
