- In an effort to go green and maintain a clean and smoke-free environment, Rendezvous Hotel Singapore will be a non-smoking hotel, from January 2008.
- The new policy includes all guest rooms, restaurants, lounges, meeting rooms, public space and employee work areas.

My companion and I were at the Rendezvous from the last of December, 2007, through New Year's. We were delighted by the staff and their eagerness to asnwer questions about sights, shopping and directions. I chose the location carefully to avoid Orchard Road congestion and yet be walking distance to some of the points of interest. The room was large, quiet and clean and a great bargain for a Singapore hotel room. The restraunt is okay. Breakfast was included. We arrived on a 6AM flight from Los Angeles with a flight time of 17.5 hours and did not anticipate being able to check in until 2:00 P.M. We were surprised and delighted that we were situated in a room in less than 15 minutes at no extra charge. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.
