CONVIENTLY LOCATED, AWSOME STAFF, EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS THERE. GOOD FOOD AND BAR. THE FACILITY IS VERY WELL MAINTAINED, AND THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS. THE COMPLIMENTRY NEWSPAPER WAS A WELCOMED SURPRISE. I PLAN ON STAYING THERE DURING FURTURE TRIPS.

Bad stuff: Hotel charged for internet in room (only free internet is in cafe in lobby). No HBO movies. No breakfast included. Restaurant pricey. Picture on website is not the pool, it's a fountain. Balcony had pigeons pooping all over it so we couldn't use it. Half of treadmills in workout center did not operate. Parking spaces very small. Good stuff: Room clean, good housekeeping staff. Gave us a room with a foldout couch when our plans changed to include a third person. Nice workout center, pool and whirlpool.

My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel because of the great reviews, location, amenities and reputation that Doubletree Hotel has to offer. While checking-into the hotel, the gentleman at the front desk was friendly. We proceeded to our room, tired and ready to relax after a very long day of traveling. Immedietely upon entering our room our eyes wandered over to this filthy couch next to the bed. On the floor in front of the couch was bad as well. We looked in the bathroom and there was urine on the toilet and hair on the floor. We stepped outside to take a breath of fresh air trying to decide if we should confront the front desk or not. The noisy highway was there and a smelly swamp. Too embarressed to make a scene but frustrated that we are paying a lot of money to stay somewhere you cannot sit down or take your shoes off, we unfortunately did not make a complaint at the front desk. Instead, we left our room to avoid any confrontation- which was a HUGE mistake on our behalf.

06/21/2009We stayed only 1 night, but the room was fine, beds comfortable, air conditioning not so great. pool was over chlorinated. dining for breakfast was extremely expensive but tasted fine.
