Nice hotel, birds in the restaurant not so appealing
11/06/2009The rooms are great, overall it's a beautiful hotel. the birds flying around the restaurant area was a little disconcerting, especially around the buffet.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The carpet did smell in the room as well as outside the room. l had to have housekeeping spray it. Didn't like the fact that dogs could stay in the room, didn't know if I was staying in a room that dogs had been in. maybe that's why the carpet smelled. Over all nice hotel

As always, this resort stands up to it's highest standards. They display what customer service is all about... friendly, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. The room service is impecable and the rooms are clean. The Resort has always been my first choice and will continue to be. The only negative I found were the beds, I think it time for new mattresses and pillows. Carol Johnson Dallas, Texas

My family has stayed at this hotel regularly for over 20 years. It's changed ownership, but the benefits of staying in a large, elegant hotel directly across from the beach hasn't faded at all.
