This is a delightful elegant vintage hotel! Our deluxe king room was large and luxurious, with hardwood floors and area rugs, complete accommodations in every respect. There was even a little kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. The continental breakfast was just that—pastries, yogurt, apples, coffee, tea, and juice. The staff was always pleasant and accommodating. I even called Guest Services to ask about printing out boarding passes and she took my information and did it for me. The free except for tips; hotel shuttle runs to downtown and back frequently. There is a lot to do near the hotel, and public transportation to the Pike Street Market and Harbor area is readily available. The Queen Anne district is a great location with numerous restaurants nearby—all excellent. There are Greek, Mexican, Thai, and Indian as well as American restaurants. There is also a great MetroMarket around the corner, in case you want fruit, snacks, or cereal. Overall, a great place to stay in Seattle.
