The rooms are very nice and of course you are in sunny San Diego surrounded by Palm Trees and Azure Blue Skies. The customer service is excellent, they offer shuttles to the San Diego Zoo and Sea World and the Public Trolley is just a quick little walk away. I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel, but I would not recommend dining at the Hotel Restaurant. Its very expensive for low quality food, and there are several better options not very far away.

The Handlery Hotel in San Diego is more like a Best Western with a salon and bar. Rooms were nothing like advertised, Wall Paper coming off wall and cracks in ceiling. The worst was the bathroom, after being away from the room for the day the upper level bathroom drained through the lower level sink all over the bathroom floor leaving black residue all over the sink, counter and floor. Luckily the towel from the morning soaked up most of the water so it did not run in to the actual room. Even at the discounted price it was not worth it and we were very disappointed, I do not reccomend this to anybody you would be better off at the Marriot on the other side of Hotel Circle.

me and my son stayed here last week. the staff is very nice and the room was clean and quiet. the pool is large and not many customers. pool bar is perfect. as for location, this is a perfect hotel. stayed at the hotel del coronado for first two days and this hotel was a fractrion of the price but just as comfortable. stay here. its nice and well worth the price!
