i was at this hotel from the end of september till october 5th . i like it very much ,staff was very friendly and helpful in any way the could . i recommend it very much and hope to visit the marco polo again soon . room service is excellent and so was the laundry service.

Our family of 5 stayed for 10 nights at the Marco Polo in Beijing and we were very pleased with all of the service and our rooms. The staff is very efficient, very polite and the hotel was quite nice. Our rooms were very comfortable and the gym/spa/pool area was very well kept and comfortable. We booked on Travelocity and having never been to China did not know what to expect. The price we paid was unbelievably cheap..which is why I was quite worried before we left. The only downside I could even think of is that the resturants in the hotel were quite expensive for our family...but there are way a lot of available places within walking distance. The subway line walk was less than 15 minutes. The walk to the Olympic venues was about 25 minutes. I highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay north of the city. Thank you for making our vacation such a nice one!

So far this is a great hotel. Service is great. The room is very nice. The breakfast buffet is incredible, so much selection. There was so much food to choose from, they had american and chinese food and like 5 differrent cooks to make us what ever we wanted. The pool and the fitness center are excellent. The staff here is very helpfull. Their English is not the best but they try very hard to make sure that you are satisfide with everything. Excellent concierge, very helpfull. We tried the chinese restaurant and the food was good and the service was great. If it wasn't for my wife speaking chinese I would had never been able to communicate as to what I wanted, but once you get thru that the food is very good. One thing I look for in a hotel is cleanliness and this hotel is very clean and we felt very safe. We would deffenetly stay here again.
