On the south-east side of Flagstaff, Little America was the perfect hotel for a family get-away. With it's two mile hike, large-pool, and playground it offered plenty of in-between-activities for the kids. The restaurant provided tasty food with a nice green scenery (a nice change from Phoenix-brown!).

Facility was lovely, with wonderful walking paths a beautiful pool and spa. The rooms were very nice, very clean and larger than one usually finds without paying a premium. The beds were very comfortable. Room service and the restraunt were also quite good. What makes this hotel a standout is the staff. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was friendly and warm. You did not get the usual 'have a nice day' kind of remarks, it was open and engaged conversation with a genuine desire to please and be helpful to the guests.

Have stayed here before, and it is a well run, exceptionally clean and attentive operation. Structure is starting to show its age (probably 40+ years) but rooms are updated often and now have flat screen TVs, etc. Spacious rooms and bath, comfy beds. Quiet with plenty of parking. Restaurant is excellent, but not especially fast or cheap, so perhaps not for the hurried traveler. We will be back.
