The staff was very nice and quite helpful. Some of the employee's spoke and understood english quite well...others pretended to understand and not provide information. The room was very clean, and sizable. Internet access was expensive 12E per day, but plenty of internet cafe's close. Try to get a room, not on the street, for the train is somewhat loud when it passes.

11/21/2006We stayed at the kings hotel first class 3 nights and then returned to it a week later. it is convenient (easy walk) from the train station, very clean, nicely ...
We stayed at the Kings Hotel first class 3 nights and then returned to it a week later. It is convenient (easy walk) from the train station, very clean, nicely decorated and reasonable especially on the weekend. Plus it has wireless in the rooms!!

Hotel is within walking distance to Marienplatz and also 2 blocks from Subway. Room was clean and comfortable, however it was a bit smaller than expected, but great for just the two of us. There was no bathtube, but shower had great pressure and temperature and bath was modern. Hotel was quiet and hotel staff were great. We didn't spend much time at the hotel but cheap and in a great location.
