My husband and I stayed for 5 days, 4 nights and had an amazing time. One of the best vacations so far. We had recently visited Playa del Carmen, Mexico and hated it there, so we had no expectations. The people of Nassau and the hotel, Exceeded our expectations. The island was clean, hotel was great. The rooms are nice and simple with great views. Nothing like the Ritz Carlton, but perfect for a beach day and retiring back to a nice relaxing room. The pools were awesome as well as the pool bar. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Everyone was sooo nice. We got a free upgrade and had no problem with room charges or arguing over the final bill. Everyone was just happy we were there. We felt safe walking around downtown and Cable Beach. The maids were great and our stuff wasn't messed with like other hotels in Mexico. they had lock boxed though, that we could put a lot of stuff into. So glad the hotel was not all inclusive, because the drinks are expensive as well as the food. Tip- liquor store and grocery store down teh street. First day, we got snacks and drinks and left everything in our room. Would go back to room for drinks and lunch and it saved us A TON of money. Dominos and Subway down teh street is very good too! And not that expensive. Costs can be comparible to island prices, like in Hawaii, but cheaper than hotel food. Italian place down the street had best pizza ever and short walk. Take bus to downtown for $* but be sure to be back by 7 when the bus stops running or $* cab. Perfect vacation!

I went for a long weekend with my girlfriend and we had a great time. The hotel was clean and the service was good not excellent because the lady of the deli was rude. The beach is wonderful and the drinks are not that expensive, only the transportation cabs are the worst a 2 minute ride . If you want to go to dowtown take the bus $ and you will save a lot of money. The hotel is located in Cable Beach 15 minutes away from downtown suggestion TAKE THE BUS!. There are no buses after 10 pm so if you want to have a romantic dinner in Bob Marley restaurant you might have to pay $ for the taxi. Overall we love the hotel and our stayed at the Bahamas. Thanks for a great deal.

Our check-in was smooth, the beds were extremely comfortable, the TV channels are the same channels I watch in NY, the beach was absolutely breathe taking, and the pools were beautiful. Staff mebers are very helpful. If you happen to travel to the island with no plans, there is an information desk in the lobby that can provide you with a laundry list of things to do during your stay. The only downside was the hotel didn't serve Bahamian food and the returants are very pricey. But overall, all the resturants off of the resort were pricey too. There is a Burgur King, Mc Donalds, KFC and Subway a bus ride away if you want to save a few dollars. If you want to venture off of the resort make sure you take the bus. It only cost $1.25. Cabs are expensive ($15-$20). Overall, what you see in the pictures is exactly what you will experience. DO NOT TIP ANY EMPLOYEES BECUASE THEIR TIP IS ADDED INTO YOUR BILL!!!!
