My spouse and I had 3 nights reserved in advance through website. We check the voucher option for $*, a one time charge. Forward to the day of checkout. We get our bill to find it is $* (cad) MORE than the confirmation email states! We try to fix this with the GM, she give us a run around with no resolve in sight and we have to sign the check out bill, of course. We get home, email the GM again, trying to resolve this, no avail. My spouse files a dispute with the credit card In the process of gathering paperwork and information for the CC company we find out that not only did Hilton upgrade our package without our consent, the voucher deal they offer on the website checkout form adds $* to EACH NIGHT you stay, not "a one time charge" as stated on the checkout form! This is website error which they absolutely refuse to acknowledge or correct! We are still pending CC company investigation. This was a nice vacation until we had to leave this place, having this burden to go home on our minds with instead of lasting good memories. Hilton has enough money, why they feel they need to not fix their error and refuse to reimburse us is bad business practice all around. We will not recommend this Hilton to anyone! We will leave honest word of mouth and reviews for this hotel everywhere we go. Theft is not acceptable, especially from Hilton during these harsh economic times!

First off, the location of the hotel is great and easy to access the Falls area. It is located right across the street from the new Fallsview Casino which provides CHEAP parking DO NOT park at the the Hilton - it's WAY expensive and takes FOREVER to get your car via the valet service. The casino area has many restaurants that were delicious and towards the back of the casino is a paved walkway with many photographic sites and is just steps from the incline to take you down to the falls ;two dollars per person - WELL WORTH IT)! The Hilton Hotel lobby is nice but very crowded as the hotel itself is very large. The pools are always crowded. The room we had was very small and we found hair in the bathroom ;on the floor, in the shower, on the towels. The beds were comfy but also no refridgerator was in the room. We brought our cooler stocked with water and such and are so glad we did. EVERYTHING is very expensive - bottled water goes for over three dollars a bottle. OUCH! Make sure to book a tour at the incline - under forty dollars per adult for 4 attractions, transportation to all attractions and free incline ridings for two days. This is much cheaper than purchasing them separate. Be prepared for long lines at the Maid of the Mist - HOWEVER, it is a must see and you'll be glad you did it. Table Rock; located at the bottom of the incline and at the mouth of the falls; is a great place for pictures and has many attractions as well. Rainforest Cafe on Clifton Hill is cheap and has great food - walking distrance from Maid of the Mist. FUN!

Things went smooth and were fine but I would have to complain about the cleaniness of the room, while not BAD I would mention that as we were checking the room to make sure we didn't forget anything-I was traveling with 4 children-we were checking under the bed and found a pair of shoes, that did not belong to us. While on the ground I also saw the dust on the lower shelf of the night stand; between the beds was so thick one of my children wrote the date in it. The other complaint; is that I think people should know that this hotel is actually 3 towers the smallest having 15 floors; 3 hotels in one, and only one pool so it can be quite crowded especially if it rains.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. Beautiful two room suite overlooking the American falls. Would recommend the two bedroom suite when traveling with older children. Door separates the front bedroom from the rest of the room, and gives the adults privacy. The Jacuzzi was great after walking around all day. Breakfast was wonderful in the Grand Buffet, each morning. We all loved the pool, slide, hot tub.

Pros: Awesome, breath-taking view of entire Falls. Windows stretched from ceiling-to-floor, so view was spectacular. Could see window from jacuzzi too! Two separate bedrooms gave privacy, but door between them cannot lock (keep in mind) King-sized beds were very comfy and there was a sleeper=sofa. The jacuzzi was very nice. There is a window so you can see out to the Falls and the bedroom. Thankfully there is also a motorized shade to block this view for privacy. Outside the bathroom is another sink area with a coffee maker. Cons: TV had great reception on only a few channels. Other channels displayed fuzzy images and many were blacked-out altogether. There was no channel-list so it was hard to tell what channels actually worked. The TV also had no hotel-information channel, one that would tell you the weather forecast or express checkout options. There were no PPV movies or video games. Nor was there free WiFi. WiFi could be ordered for $. Something to keep in mind if you are traveling with children and they start getting bored. Also, there were no brochures or information about amenities; not even a Yellow Pages! While the suite had a sofa, it only had one chair. It was a very comfortable, office-like chair but if you're dining in the room, you might have to eat sitting on the beds. This Hilton features a glass walkway to the Casino. I wouldn't recommend using this unless the weather is bad. It is much more convenient to just step outside the hotel and cross the street to the casino. *One additional note regarding special-needs: We have a special-needs toddler. Giving her a shower in the jacuzzi was easier than doing it at home. There was a hand-held showerhead which made it super-easy! Ack! 300 word limit!
