Every member of the staff we encountered were extremely helpful and friendly, from the parking valet, front desk, concierge, to the cleaning staff, everybody greeted us with a smile and immediately offered assistance, before I even had a chance to make my request. The location near everything downtown was exactly what we were looking for on this trip. We just wanted to leave the car and check out the downtown area. The only disappointment was not with the hotel, but with the casino. VERY smoky and you had to walk through the smoke to get to the buffet (which daily breakfast buffet was included with the room we booked). The small non-smoking area in the slot machine area was not separated in any way from the smoking area, hence the smoke everywhere. It was not noticable in the non-smoking buffet area or in the Poker room, which was nice.

the spa's had dirty foam floating in all of them, every time I took my car out they charged my room $ and I tiped $5.00 to boot!!! I had to stay in my room for one whole night because the resorts fine dinning made me sick.

Had to call Security as Parents left Children in rooms accross from us. Called Security and told front desk the next day. They did not even offer a free night for our sleepless night. Not very accomodating. They do not follow up. Probably will not stay at this hoetel again.

The decor of the room was no better than a motel 6 complete with popcorn ceiling and dirty comforter. The hallways outside the rooms were vacuumed at 6 am and the maintenance people were in the courtyard banging trash bins and making noise by 7 am. The walls were so thin that the TV and or radio in the next room sounded like it was in my room. Front desk person was completely clueless about the property and had attitude to boot. When I asked about their restaurant ""Noodles"", one person told me it was Chinese, the other said it was Japanese; when I asked them to clarify they looked at me as if I had two heads and said ""it's the same thing"".

Great Hotel! Stayed 4 times in the past 2 years. Never disapointed. Great old school spa location, one of the first hip locations in Palm Springs. The hotel is new though:) The casino across the street is great (win all the time), best buffet in town. Walking distance from the heart of Palm Springs. 5 miles from the famous Palm Canyon Oasis trails.
