Everithing was nice untill friday, when we had to weght for an elevator for more than 30 min. We had to change our plans so to awoid going to the rooms on 42 floor. Our daughters, as well as many other people had to take stares from 42, 43, 40 floors to go downstares.

We stayed in the older West Tower and the room was nice, except we had no menus or information about the hotel in the room. Wish I had known they had an indoor pool. The only major complaint we had was the long wait for the elevator (on arrival we waited at least 15 minutes for an open elevator & had to take it down just to go up).

Just got back from a night at the Tropicana. Definitely in need of some customer service training at the check in desk. I asked a question at check in about the rate for the room and was given a very rude response. The staff was condescending. Honestly I was ready to walk out of the place! Not a great first impression. Stayed in the Havana Tower. It was ok...typical room...noisy for a Wednesday night I thought. I don't think I'll go back to the Tropicana if I ever go to AC again. I am sure I can get treated a lot better down the boardwalk!

This was the 3rd trip to Tropicana in a year with the family and we still enjoy Tropicana. The place was mobbed during check in (Sunday in July) but it was well staffed and went relatively quickly. Was in the west tower where the same problem exist: not enough elevators for the throng of people. Fights almost broke out because of people cutting the line ( at least 30-40 people long)during the busier parts of the day, and waiting on the 42nd floor can be an eternity. The room was large and clean, was made up on time, but we couldnt shut the AC off for some reason on the 2nd day. Trop has the best dining around as our meal at PF Changs was among the best we ever had, and the coffee shop service has improved dramatically. The deli is good for food on the run, and the beach is a convienent walk on the boardwalk. We really enjoy Tropicana but next time will ask for room in the north tower or pay more for Havana tower to avoid elevator problems

My husband and I had a great stay at the Tropicana. Check-in and Check-out was fast and professional. Atmosphere was beautiful. Rooms were very clean and the view was georgious. Staff was professional and courteous. The dining was excellent especially Cuba Libre. I felt that we didn't need to go anywhere outside the resort because everything was right there. We will definately be booking again but this time with friends.
