We stayed for a week between 10/17 and 10/24. The resort was very nice. The rooms were modern and clean with great views from the balcony. The pool area was beautiful with palm trees and flowering bushes. The beach area was small and calm, but we ended up spending a lot of time there. The free breakfast was excellent. It was buffet style with made to order eggs. The pool side lunch place had good food at a reasonable price. All the employees were friendly and went our of there way to help us. The resort is a little remote, so you really need a car to get around. We found some great restaurants within a couple of miles of the resort. All said and done, we thought it was a great value for the money.

The staff was very friendly and did any thing we ask to accommodate our needs. The room was uncomfortable, the beach to small and dirty. And all the extra charges added at the end defeat the purpose of the package deal.

MY family traveled to embassy dorado pr 8/2/816/09. The staff was accomodating. Everyone from the check in desk to the valet parking were all excellent. The hotel parking is being expanded so that parking is limited but they will provide you with a valet parking for the same daily rate as if you parked yourself. The morning free breakfast is tremendous, well stocked and the attendants are all very friendly. The rooms are spacious, well kept and no complaints. The use of the tennis court and driving range is free. The hotel is centrally located accesible to major highways that connect to the entire island. The rate we got including room breakfast, airfare can't be beat by anyone. I will definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel higly to anyone especially families with children.

I must say that this hotel was buetiful but I couldn't understand why they charged a 12% fee. You have to rent sepreatly the paddle boats & you pay $20.dlrs for a half hour only it's not worth it since you can't go far. You get a great free full breakfast but then the complimentary drinks are only from 5:30 to 7:30pm & the lines are crazy . The resturant is extreamly expensive & the bar outside the pool area is equally expensive & it closes to early. The value of the hotel is just not worth it. There is nothing but the pool & the beach which is dirty for my teenage kids , we got bored after the third day & we were staying for 9 days. I wanted an extra room for my children but appearently they only have 2 rooms w/1 bed or 2 beds in the same room. The staff was very friendly but everything else was not. Everything in the area was expensive omg even McDonalds. Everything was far thank god we rented a vechile. Oh make sure if you rent a car you are covered because while the car was parked in valet another car scratched our rental. The manager gave us another room to make up for all the dis advantages but it was the same room but just a better view. My teenage son sleeped on the floor on a mattress they provided but they have no roll away beds so be prepared , while my daughter sleeped on the sofa bed once again no privacy. The hotel is good for couples , friends & maybe a couple w/young children but not teens trust me. The rooms are small & no kicthen but a small lil sink w/a micro & small fridge.
