I woul dnot have paid fuill price for this hotel. For the deal that we got on it, we were satisfied. As we had read in other reviews, there shaded hut distribution needs to be improved. Every place we have every stayed has open, you just picked a place on the beach. At the HI you had to get up before 6 in the morning to wait in line over an hour to get a decent spot (not ideal for a vaction) because you have to choose a spot and they put your room # down. Another annoying thing, for evry meal and drink, you have to sign a reciept and this is FOR the ALL INCLUSIVE. I have never had to do this before, why did we even have to wear the wrist band. Our room was nice. As some said, the hallways do smell, but I didn't spend alot of time in them so it didn't matter to me. A little more general hotel info would have been ideal at check in. They give you a key and point you to the elevator. There were alot more kids there then we expected, but they never bothered us. The food was better then most have given it credit for. We really only didn't enjoy the food 1 night at the buffet. Otherwise, on certain nights it had some of the better buffet food we have had. The Italiin and Sea Breeze restaurants we OK also. Nightlife at the hotel was prety much non-existent. There were a few people out drinking, but it tended to clear out fast. The hotel location to other bars probably does not help this. The hotel is located in a great spot, lots of shops and food with in 4 or 5 blocks.

AC in bedroom was noisy and ineffective, bathroom hot, waited long time for hot water, disappointed with beach furniture, silly rules to obtain beach hut, showed sporting events on beach but could not hear audio because load music from beach bar just a few feet away, bar tenders need more training, sandwiches from pool bar were good, concierge services were average, breakfast buffet was average and expensive

all inclusive good for drinks not for food!!! staff good but not nollagable of hotel events.hotel boring you must explore tthe island to have fun!! kids in adult pool. you have to get up at dawn to reserve a hut at the beach and to make reservations!! would stay again but i would check out other hotels first!!

10/17/09 to 10/23/09 A couple years ago I wrote a bad review about this hotel. Since then I have read several very good reviews, so I took a chance and stayed at the Holiday Inn, plus the price was so reasonable. I must say I am glad I did. The room was nice, clean, but no view. I didn't mine that so much because we never really spent time in the room anyway. The only negative I must mention is checking in. Believe it or not we were the only one in line checking in and we waited 15 minutes before someone came to counter to check us in. She was nice ...but where was she for over 15 minutes..... Anyway we had a great time...its ok to stay at the Holiday Inn especially if you get a good deal.

We definitely enjoyed our stay here at the Holiday inn!! Do not let the other reviews discourage you from coming here.....It is amazing.....the foood was great, there were plenty of options to choose from, whether you wanted to dress up or have a casual dinner....the staff was excellent, they were very helpful and very nice!! The length of stay was definitely not enough, we did not want to go back home!! It was definitely a pleasant stay and a wonderful honeymoon, I would reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in the heart of Palm beach and be in close proximity to everything!!!
