From the moment they opened the door for us on our arrival to arranging for up to be brought back to the airport the Vendue Inn was terrific! The staff was gracious and so very pleasant. The location right by Waterfront Park was amazing and central to so very many excellent restaurants. The breakfast at the inn was wonderful. And, they were so accommodating with a how you wanted your eggs. Sounds silly, but it's important. The ultimate test? Would you go back?....you bet!

We had a wonderful stay the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Location was great for sight seeing. The bed was very comfortable. The room was verydisappointing to us, as the photos we viewed on the web site didn't come close to the room we stayed in. The floors were very uneven and no water pressure when bathing. We booked our room thru a discount travel service -maybe that made a difference. We probably will stay in another hotel on our next visit.

The location is in historic Charleston, walking distance to so many historic sites, surrounded by restaurants and small shops. The property is charming--clean, tons of character. The staff could not be more helpful in recommending and booking tours, restaurants, etc. It's a pet friendly property, but be aware that there is a $50 cleaning fee if you bring your pet. Valet parking is available for $16 a day, or you can self-park for $12 a day. There is a full breakfast with many menu choices every morning included. Coffee, tea, and fruit-infused water is always available in the lobby. The manager's reception with wine and cheese every afternoon is nice. Warm fresh-baked cookies and milk every night available in the lobby is a great treat. I would highly recommend this hotel in Charleston!

I've stayed at the Vendue Inn twice and loved it both times. The location is fabulous. Their hospitality is amazing. I liked the first room I had better than the more recent one. Both were beautifully decorated but the first one had a desk and a large bathroom with a big tub. It's downside was that there was no view (unless you count a window through which you could see the feet of people walking by). The other room had a balcony, but overlooked a parking lot. I will continue to stay here whenever I visit.
