We got to the airport a bit late, and it took us awhile to find the spot where we were going to meet the driver, but he waited for us, chatted with us on the way there, answered questions, cool guy..Good driver. The Hotel Staff was really helpful, they have a guy at the front desk that will help you set up anything you want to do, we gave him some ideas and he started calling for us. The room I stayed in was a single bed had a safe, mini bar, out the window was the other side of the Pulitzer, but I could see the top of a church steeple. The bathroom was really nice. The pay perview is spendy something like $25 a movie, and I was disappointed when I turned the tv up all the way and could'nt hear it from my bed. When we went down to the restaurant they took our coats and took and quick order of drinks before seating us, we didnt wait long before they brought us our drinks and menus. Im a picky eater and didnt have much id like so the waiter reccommened that we be moved to the bar part of the resturant where there was steak. Alright, The steak was something like $50 for a thick but steak. It was so good, best steak ever. 1st one didnt fill me up, so I had to order two though. For two people after some drinks it was about 200 bucks. Location was great. My dad and I stayed in Amsterdam the whole trip and the only time we didnt walk somewhere is when we were picked up and dropped off. Dam Square is about a 5 minute walk. Expensive but, Id stay again.

I love the quantness and it is located perfectly a few blocks from the main tourist area, Dam Square. Just far enough to walk there but far enough to avoid the late night noise and crowds outside your hotel. The room was very nice about the same as $*/night Hilton here in America so based on that I thought it was a little over-prices at $*/night but Europe in general is expensive. But for an intimate get-away I would recommend it over a larger classic 5 star hotel.
