The manager and the maintenace man were especially accommodating. The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. We didn't see a single bug! It was especially nice for the money and is a good location. Our experience was excellent.

I don't generally write reviews, but this hotel stay compelled me to warn others. This hotel is terrible, especially considering the incredible rates they charge for beachfrontl. Roaches in the room; we reported to the front desk and were offered a can of bug spray. The patio had trash on it that we picked up so we could use it. The room wasn't cleaned in the 3 days we were there. Took out our own trash. The A/C was LOUD! The A/C for the room above us dripped over our outside door which got us wet each time we went out. Grounds were dirty and littered with trash. Deadbolt didn't work on front door; back door had to be ""worked"" to even get it closed. Pullout couch was broken. The TV had bad reception - fuzzy and grainy picture. No hot water in the morning for showers. This was a combined business/family trip for my daughter's 12th birthday. She had looked forward to this for weeks and how disappointing these accomodations were. Unfortunately, we couldn't make a hotel change. This hotel is run down and we will never stay here again. We expect some wear and tear in a beach hotel but this was awful. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Emerald Beach and while also an older hotel, was certainly a much better value for the same money and the beach is cleaned each morning.

Mouse droppings on the vanity; roaches on the dresser and in the bathroom; hair (not mine) all over the floor; DIRTY; ran out of breakfast early in the morning; no juice some mornings; HORRIBLE experience.

Overall the hotel was in a great location, staff was courteous, just be sure you take advantage of the free breakfast. My spouse and i went to Selena Museum, and visited her memorial site. Great view of the bridge, and the beach. This hotel has lots to offer, just check it out.

This motel really is on the beach so at least that part of their advertising was accurate. The beach is pretty nice. The room was really small and the bathroom is cclean but needs updating. The motel is alot older than the pictures make it look. The people who work there were friendly, polite, and helpful. Quality Inns really should update their buildings. I've yet to see one anywhere that doesn't look tired and rundown. We were thankful for their good service though and had fun at the beaches.
