I loved the intimate feel of this inn. It has wonderful rooms, very good breakfast and wine tasting. My only surprise was that it was right next to the highway, which the hotel information did not reveal. While this put me off at first, I noticed that this is not at all unusual in Napa Valley - most of the hotels are right next to the highway since the rest of the land is vineyards!! The layout of the inn is a bit awkward also: the pool is tiny and not really a place to hang out, and the spa tub is in a whole other section of the property. Also, I felt for the price, the staff was a bit inexperienced. But, the rooms are really lovely and it is a very nice place to come at the end of a day of exploring.

Everything was very nice and we would stay again. The B&B is now owned by the Hall winery. The pool was unavailable and we had to ask for the jacuzzi to be made ready. The staff was extremely nice, the breakfast was good and server *, made sure you had whatever you needed. The place is beautiful and with the fountains and the frogs, you could hardly hear any noise from Hwy 29. We stayed at the 'Mansion' which is the oldest building and could not have asked for a better place. We had the porch all for ourselves and sat at night listening to the frogs and the rain. Wished I could have stay longer..,.but vacation ended./ I recommend this place to anyone that really wants to get away and relax.

We went for a weekend getaway. Our friends booked at the Marriott and ended up being very disappointed after they saw our hotel. We ended up just talking in one of the many conversation areas with beatiful padded patio furniture. The breakfast in the morning was bannana pancakes with a Merlot Syrup that was to die for!!! Beautiful spacious room with complimentary wine and everything needed for a romantic getaway.

I had a wonderful romantic weekend at this boutique hotel. The gardens were amazing, almost magical at night with lights and fountains. While I wouldn't recommend bringing younger children this hotel was definitely one of the best I have ever experienced.
