  The suite was beautiful and very clean. I absolutely loved it. My husband and I enjoyed our romantic weekend there. The whirlpool bath was fantastic and the front desk service was prompt and attentive. we ordered room service for dinner. We will not make that mistake again. The food was one step above fast food quality and our orders were not right. No silverware was brought up and we had to wait for them to run back down stairs to get silverware, then the salad dressing was runny like water; plus the salad was brown....eeewwwww. Over all the food was just bad. Do not let that stop you though; the room and staff were wonderful and my husband and I plan on staying again; we just won't order room service.

• Not a good night's sleep

  We stayed one night as part of a multi city trip. We have stayed at this particular hotel 3 times before and always had a great stay. Unfortunately, this stay was not as good, Since we were ony staying one night we got a standard room as opposed to a Jr. suite. The bed was one of the worst that we have ever had anywhere. There are knobs on either side of the bed for adjusting but did not seem to work as no matter what we did one side was hard as a rock and the other side had a huge dip in it. Also, since the room is smaller than a suite, we were much closer to the AC unit which was extremely loud. It woke us up every single time it kicked on. Room was very clean as usual, but when we called the front desk for the code for wireless internet the next morning, the desk person was very rude, which wasn't normal for this hotel. We have always had great stays before. Hopefully this was just one bad night that won't be repeated next time. If so, we will find a new place to stay from now on as you can find rooms nearby on the ocean for the same price.

  Staff repeatedly called our room after we had gone to sleep to request a bed left in the room. Poor planning and very inconsiderate. It is very hard to fall back asleep once you have been waken up.

  I give this hotel one of the highest ratings because it deserves it. Since I traveled alone, I wanted a hotel that would be safe and I felt very safe being at the Hilton Garden Hotel. I will be traveling to Florida again soon and will stay at this hotel.
